Memory and forgetting

The commercial street of Bucharest was largely part of the area that was mostly inhabited by Jews. In January 1941, groups of Romanian fascist gunmen broke into Jewish homes and synagogues and brutally murdered 130 people, desecrating their bodies. We will not forget and we will not forgive.
