In the middle of a dense forest, between rivers and lakes, in northern Germany in the Eifel region, lies a tourist site called "VOGELSANG – Bird Song"Carved into the mountainside like a giant wound, lies a vast complex of the organization's training grounds. "Hitler Youth" Which operated from 1936–1939.

The surrounding landscape is green, bustling with life - lush trees, clear lake water, tourist boats, and the chirping of songbirds filling the air. But amidst all this beauty, there is extreme ugliness: sooty stone buildings, military symbols, and war paraphernalia that march from the top of the mountain to the valley.

At the entrance to the site, among shady trees, stands a marble tablet engraved with the Hitler Youth oath. The name of the leader to whom they swore the oath has been erased from the tablet – His name will be erased.A sense of upheaval arises at the encounter between lush nature and a past stricken with hatred. This is a place where memory and oblivion struggle with each other.

A series of 3 works about a reality that has passed away, about an irresolvable conflict between beauty and trauma – and about an oath that we repeat and bear: We'll not forget and not forgive.
