In other words: our attitude towards the past, to our roots, to our family, to our personal and collective disasters. Lot's wife is known in the sources mainly because she looked back, and was the only living creature who saw with her own eyes the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, the cities of crime in everyone's mind, but for her her hometown where she was born and raised... Then she turned pale in pain, her tears covered her in a layer of salt, which hardened until her body died from the inside. But on the outside she remained whole forever, a statue of salt... Is there any greater loneliness than this?
